Common topics
Pairing a Garmin watch
Open the Timekeeper Watch Connect app on your watch — it shows a 6-digit code. In the Timekeeper phone app (participant mode), open the menu, choose Pair a watch, type the code shown on the watch, and tap Link. The watch starts streaming within a few seconds. If the code expires, press START on the watch to get a new one.
GPS is not tracking
Make sure location permission is granted and location services are on. In the Timekeeper app, the status indicator will prompt you if permission is needed — tap it to enable. For the watch app, keep the app open on your wrist during the race; continuous background GPS is restricted by the watch platform.
Battery
Live GPS tracking uses significant battery. Start with a charged device. The watch app automatically slows its GPS sampling when the battery is low to help it last longer.
Leaving a race / stopping tracking
In the Timekeeper app, use Leave race to stop tracking and remove the race from your device. On the watch, close the Timekeeper Watch Connect app to stop streaming.
Disconnecting Strava
You can revoke Xluma's access from your Strava account settings at any time, or contact us and we will remove the connection.
