Data & Account Deletion
Last updated: 17 June 2026
You can request deletion of your Xluma account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what may be retained.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@xluma.live from the email address on your account (or include it in your message) with the subject "Delete my data". To help us find your records, please include:
- Your account name and email address.
- Any event name(s) and bib number(s) you used, if applicable.
- Whether you want your full account deleted or only specific data (for example, your GPS tracks).
We will verify the request comes from you and complete it within 30 days. We will email you to confirm when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, and login credentials).
- Your push notification subscriptions and tokens.
- Your raw GPS track points collected by the Timekeeper app and Timekeeper Watch Connect.
- Any optional connection you authorized, such as Strava.
What may be retained
Because Xluma is a race results platform, some information may be retained or anonymized rather than removed:
- Official results. Published results (such as bib, category, times, and rank) may form a lasting public record of an event. Where possible we will anonymize your personal identifiers rather than delete the official result, unless the event organizer or applicable law requires otherwise.
- Legal and security records. We may retain limited information where needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Some race data is controlled by the event organizer. Where the organizer is the controller of that data, we will direct your request to them or act on their instructions.
Self-service options
You can also reduce or stop data collection yourself at any time:
- Stop tracking: use Leave race in the Timekeeper app, or close the Timekeeper Watch Connect app on your watch.
- Revoke location permission in your device settings.
- Disconnect Strava from your Strava account settings, or ask us to remove the connection.
- Unlink a watch by re-pairing (which replaces the old link) or by contacting support.
- Turn off push notifications in your device settings.
